On May 15th, 2024, Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. hosted the Green Carpet Gala at Tendenza. The evening was an enchanting blend of elegance and compassion. Attendees came together to support mental health education and resources for youth in the Greater Philadelphia area through an unforgettable celebration of fashion, delicious food, and unforgettable entertainment.
As we look ahead, Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. remains dedicated to advancing mental health awareness among teens and adolescents. Stay tuned for upcoming initiatives, workshops, and community events designed to continue the conversation and break down barriers.

101 speakeasy, Philadelphia’s members-only speakeasy, welcomed supporters of Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. for a happy hour to raise funds for teen and adolescent mental health awareness.

On May 18th, 2023, Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. hosted the Green Carpet Gala at The Lucy. The evening was an enchanting blend of elegance and compassion. Attendees came together to support mental health education and resources for youth in the Greater Philadelphia area through an unforgettable celebration of fashion, delicious food, and unforgettable entertainment.
Against the backdrop of glittering lights and aerobatics provided by Jewelz Entertainment and the pulsating energy of live music by DJ Hollywood, the Green Carpet Gala was a testament to the transformative power of community and philanthropy. Attendees were treated to an expertly curated and styled Fashion Show by Bravado Fashion House and VIP treatment provided by Roger Wilco, WTSO.com and Elevate Management-all in the name of mental health awareness and support.
Todd Fedurok, a well-known figure in Philadelphia for having played 7 seasons with the Flyers, delivered a powerful address, encouraging attendees to prioritize their mental well-being and destigmatize conversations around mental health.
The Green Carpet Gala was more than an event-it was a movement. The event fostered a sense of unity, encouraging open conversations about mental health experiences and the importance of mental health. 2022 Annual Golf Classic - Swing FORE A Cause

On October 24, 2022, golf enthusiasts and philanthropists alike gathered at The Union Golf Club at Torresdale for a day that surpassed all expectations- Swing FORE A Cause Golf Outing. Hosted by Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D., this event was not just a game of golf; it was a testament to the power of community coming together to Erase The Stigma associated with mental health.
Against the backdrop of lush greens, Swing FORE A Cause Golf Outing turned a day of golf into a day of impact. The tournament embraced the spirit of friendly competition, camaraderie, and most importantly, charity.
What started as an ambitious fundraising goal turned into a record-breaking achievement. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors, and donors, we not only met but exceeded our fundraising target. These funds will directly benefit Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. Mental Health Educational Programming and evaluation resources.

2022 Green Carpet Gala

The first annual Green Carpet Gala for Mental Health Awareness, held on May 12th, 2022 at The Lucy, was an evening of inspiration, advocacy, and community. Hosted by Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D., the event aimed to raise awareness about mental health in teens and adolescents throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and support educational programs.
The gala brought together Philadelphia’s top young professionals from various industries, united by a common goal-to Erase The Stigma surrounding mental health. Guests enjoyed music from DJ Ben Arsenal, immersive art installations from InLiquid, and an incredible runway show produced and styled by Runway The Real Way and Bravado Fashion House.
Green Carpet Gala exceeded expectations, raising over $80,000 in support of mental health initiatives for teens and adolescents. These funds will directly contribute to Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D.’s ongoing efforts to provide accessible mental health resources, education, and support.

2021 Annual Golf Classic - Swing FORE A Cause

In October of 2021, we held our Annual Golf Classic at the Union League in Torresdale. The event was a special time for the organization as it marked the 5 year anniversary of Michael’s passing. We were honored to celebrate his life and legacy with all of our supporters and attendees on the green to raise funds for mental health and to end the stigma of mental illness.
All proceeds were put back into our counseling and outreach programs and allowed us to extend our educational programs to 3 new schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and Recreation Centers and After School Programs with our supporters in Philadelphia. We were also able to grow our adolescent mental health counseling program to help students re-adjust to in-person classes to address the rising need for anxiety and depression support during COVID transition. Again, we couldn’t have done this without the aid of our community. Thank you to all who attended, participated, and donated.
