Supporting teens and their families, we offer a no-cost mental health assessment consultation that will provide a diagnosis and treatment plan so that those who struggle with mental illness can navigate the road to long-lasting health. Dr. Michael J. Vergare, MD, Mr. Stephen Swider, and the Psychiatry and Human Behavior physicians and staff serve this program with the greatest confidentiality, professionalism and compassion.

Valued Beyond Measure. That’s how we view our Volunteers at Michael’s Giving H.A.N.D. They are compassionate, hard-working members of the MGH family, ready to serve in any capacity to get the job done. Some knew Michael well and serve to honor his memory. Others know a “Michael” and serve to make a difference in the lives of people they may never meet. Our Volunteers allow us to maximize and direct our donations toward our community programs and services because they help us with the administrative tasks, event logistics, fundraising, marketing campaigns and so much more.
